Free-wheeling Alabama rockers Lee Bains & The Glory Fires made a minor splash with their 2012 debut slab “There Is a Bomb in Gliead,” but seem poised for bigger and better things with the release of phenomenal sophomore effort “Dereconstructed.”

Lee Bains III CDThere’s a nice mix of classic Southern rock with a touch of punk strut on a 10-track gem of an album highlighted by high-octane opener “The Company Man,” “Burnpiles Swimming Holes,” “The Kudzu and the Concrete,” “We Dare Defend Our Rights,” “Mississippi Bottomland” and “Dirt Track.” This is a perfect summer record, y’all.
