Almost a quarter century after his death, Miles Davis remains one of the most beloved and enduring figures in jazz music. During the spring of 1960, Davis wrapped up a five-year association with fellow legend John Coltrane with an acclaimed tour of Europe. Highlights of that sojourn across the continent are the focus of four-CD set “All of You: The Last Tour.”

Miles CDRather than traditional concert performances, “All of You” features almost six hours of material gleaned from radio broadcasts and private recordings. With Davis on trumpet and Coltrane on saxophone, the quintet was rounded out by Wynton Kelly on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums.

Highlights include performances of “So What,” “On Green Dolphin Street,” “All of You,” “’Round Midnight,” “All Blues,” “The Theme” and an interview with Coltrane. (Jeffrey Sisk)
