Singer/songwriter Rob Drabkin, despite a hair style that makes him resemble Sideshow Bob from “The Simpsons,” is an artist on the rise. Drabkin impressed a couple years back with a live album in which he and his band covered Paul Simon’s “Graceland” in its entirety and now impresses with newest studio offering “Little Steps.”

Rob Drabkin CDWith a voice that sounds like a cross between Dave Matthews and Marcus Mumford, Drabkin hits all the right notes on this nine-track collection of self-penned tunes. His collaboration with the Colorado Symphony on “Don’t Worry About Me” is the centerpiece of the album, but Drabkin also delivers on “For You I Would Die,” the title track, “A Bird Lost” and “Feeling Good Again.” This one’s a must for your collection.
